I’m not a traditional expert in anything. I don’t have fancy degrees or a lengthy list of qualifications. I have only my own life experience bound together with an insatiable curiosity to build the best version of myself.
I’ve faced each life experience with a determination to have it shape me the best woman, friend, wife, bonus mom, professional I can be – regardless of how hard it is to execute or how the world tells me I should respond.
I have navigated life as a pastor’s kid, through divorce, dating in my late 40’s, remarriage, blended families, trying new things, and world travels, with an insatiable curiosity and dedication to questioning the status quo.
Doing so has taught me:
- To be better, not bitter.
- To be brave, not perfect.
- To divorce with dignity, not anger.
- To question, not accept the status quo.
- To build a beautiful, blended bonus family.
- To welcome and accept, not to judge.
- To try and fail, not shrink in fear.
- To create, not just analyze.
- To get out and play, not watch from the sideline.
